Profile
Highly skilled ICT specialist and digitally literate, I am abreast with both legacy and emerging ICT technologies, services, processes, and developments. I have over 20 years of work experience in the field of ICT, having been directly involved as a key player in the implementation and supervision of many small-scale and large-scale ICT projects, from initial conception and planning, which include design, budgeting, and project management, to completion and transfer of knowledge, management, and operations. Such projects include infrastructure (Data Centres, LAN and WAN networks, CCTV surveillance and access control systems that span entire campuses). I am, therefore, business oriented and have an entrepreneurial drive.
My experience has facilitated branching out and excelling in high-level managerial positions, including officially as the Head of Network Operations and Infrastructure in the prestigious KNUST, and as an ICT Consultant and external assessor for several Ghanaian Universities, empowered to advise on ICT infrastructure development, digitisation, ICT operations and resource management, ICT strategic planning, and ICT policy making. I am a key consultant of the technical team for GARNET, and a ranking committee member overseeing ICT projects by the Government of Ghana.
I am a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills. I have trained over 500 highly skilled IT professionals and engineers both within and outside KNUST. These are intelligent and dedicated individuals, who, motivated and pushed to excel under my supervision, increased in knowledge and expertise in ICT. These individuals may be found in organisations like Vodafone, MTN, AngloGold, IPMC, NITA, and others. I am, therefore, a distinguished professional with the capacity to motivate and direct staff.
I am recognised as a technology expert by many industries like Vodafone and MTN on matters in ICT and regularly consulted on projects for delivering ICT infrastructure and services in Ghana.
