Profile

I am a Senior Administrative Assistant at the university. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Economics and Sociology, a Diploma in Education, a Certificate in Energy Economics, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics.

I am currently serving in the Department of Petroleum Engineering. Prior to this, I worked at the Provost’s Office of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of Construction Technology and Management, where I gained broad administrative experience and institutional insight.

In addition to my core responsibilities, I actively contribute to several committees and boards within the university. I serve as Secretary to the Faculty of Civil and Geo-Engineering Retiree Committee and the Faculty of Civil and Geo-Engineering Postgraduate Conference. I am also the Assistant Secretary for the College of Engineering Fundraising Committee.

Furthermore, I serve as Secretary to the KNUST Petroleum Engineering Advisory Board, the Department of Petroleum Engineering Board, the Department of Petroleum Engineering Alumni Committee, and the Next Gen Innovators Challenge 2026. I also serve as Secretary to the Committee tasked with conducting a feasibility study and preparing a proposal for the College of Engineering Administrative Assistant Retreat 2026, as well as the Committee reviewing the presentation by the Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA).

Prior to joining the university, I worked as a Merchandiser with Limed Ventures and Aujess Company Limited. I also served as a Hospital Coordinator for PENSA-UCC, where I developed strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.

I possess strong computer skills and am proficient in general office applications. I am adaptable, eager to learn, and committed to continuous professional development.

I also have a keen interest in educational and behavioural research, particularly in understanding why students’ character and behaviour may differ between home and school environments. Additionally, I am interested in assessment methods in education, including the integration of both oral and written examinations, and exploring more student-centered approaches to evaluation.

I am a proud family member of Lighthouse Chapel International – The Mega Church, Asokwa. My hobbies include singing and cooking.
