Juliana Abagsonema Abane is a Senior Lecturer in Management Studies and Public Administration at the Department of History and Political Studies, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. Dr Abane holds a PhD in Development Administration with a speciality in Development Management and Policy from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Bangkok, Thailand, and an MPhil in Public Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon. Dr Abane's research interests include performance management, public administration, organisation theory and behaviour, public policy and governance, human resource management, local government administration, sustainable development, social inequalities, and inclusion. She has published in international peer-review indexed journals such as Public Organization Review, Public Budgeting & Finance, Future Business Journal, International Journal of Human Resources Studies, Global Social Welfare, Global Encyclopedia of Public Administration, Public Policy, and Governance. Professional experience includes capacity-building training in performance management, contract management and administration, negotiation skills, customer relationship management, stakeholder management, strategic management, and business decision making.
