A project to provide infrastructure and Internet for universities in Ghana.
The technical report proposal submitted by KNUST won the university USD 2 million for the project (later reduced to USD 1 million to accommodate other technical universities and other institutions).
GARNET/WACREN National Research and Education Project (2016 - 2017)
AfricaConnect2 Project for WACREN Members including Ghana, Nigeria, and others.
EU funding of 80% of budget (9.8 million Euros) for WACREN members.
KNUST paid 27,500 Euros, while the EU funding settled 98,000 Euros for KNUST.
