Kofi Essibu Ansah is the Chief Technician in the Department of Silviculture and Forest Management at the Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He provides technical support for teaching, research, and practical field training in forestry and natural resource management. His professional experience spans forest plantation establishment and management, nursery operations, silvicultural practices, field experimentation, and environmental monitoring.

His work focuses on climate change adaptation, with particular interest in farmers' adoption of climate change adaptation strategies across ecological gradients in Ghana. His research aims to generate evidence-based solutions that enhance climate resilience, sustainable forest management, and rural livelihoods through integrated natural resource management approaches.

His research also explores the role of agroforestry systems and mushroom production in promoting sustainable agriculture, ecosystem restoration, biodiversity conservation, food security, and livelihood diversification. He is committed to advancing innovative and climate-smart technologies that support sustainable landscape management and contribute to national and global environmental sustainability goals.
