Ms. Grace Appiah has over nineteen (19) years experience in administrative and office practices. She holds a Master of Science degree in Development Policy and Planning from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) degree from University of Cape Coast, and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretaryship and Management Studies from Kumasi Polytechnic.
She had her National Service at Mamponteng District Assembly (Ashanti Region) for a period of one year. Ms. Appiah joined the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in September, 2006 and was posted to the Industrial Art Department, the then College of Art and Social Sciences. She worked with the Department for eight (8) years until she was transferred to the International Programmes Office, under the Vice-Chancellor’s office in September, 2014.
In October, 2018, Ms. Appiah was transferred to the Department of Planning, College of Art and Built Environment and currently with the School of Graduate Studies since February, 2024.
Ms. Appiah, after working for four (4) years in the university, was promoted from an Administrative Assistant to Senior Administrative Assistant in January, 2011. In January 2016, she was again promoted to Principal Administrative Assistant, and then to Chief Administrative Assistant in January, 2023.
Ms. Appiah was awarded the Best Administrative Assistant in the Faculty of Art and Built Environment at the CABE STAFF AWARD 2019, and the Overall Best Senior Staff in the College of Art and Built Environment for the 2018/2019 Academic Year.
