New Avenues to Increase the Use of Skilled Birth Attendants in Ghana.
Using a two group comparison design, this study tested a modified prenatal care program (HBLSS-M) in Ghana designed to increase the use of skilled birth attendants for delivery. Role: responsible for the oversight of all activities associated with this project and directing a research team.

Examining student Midwives Perception of Rural Practice, Reproductive Health Issues and Contraceptive Update and Use
The aim of this research is to further understand the factors that motivate recent midwifery graduates to move to rural deprived areas with the final goal of assisting the government in developing an incentive package to improve distribution. Midwifery students were surveyed on motivations and incentives for living in a deprived rural area.
