Abigael Omowumi Emikpe is a masters degree holder in Maternal and Child Health Nursing and a registered Nurse/Midwife as well as a fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Nursing and Midwifery in the areas of Maternal, Child and Reproductive Health. She is currently a Lecturer at the department of Nursing, KNUST-Kumasi, Ghana.

Abigael worked at the University College Hospital Ibadan as a Nurse educator and rose through the ranks to become the deputy director of Nursing (Training) before her current appointment. Abigael is a matured team worker who is adaptable to all situations. Her research interests are in maternal, child and reproductive health.
