    1. Principal Investigator, provided baseline data to develop a community reserve for endangered hippos. Conducted surveys to establish the presence of hippo forage plants and hence the restoration of degraded sites. Using drift fences, traps, transects, and nocturnal spotlight counts, identified amphibians, lizards, snakes, turtles, crocodilians, rodents, bats, and medium to large size mammals. Conducted surveys to establish the distribution and abundance of hippos in the sanctuary and assess their feeding habits and breeding grounds. – The Centre for Field Research at Earthwatch Institute, USA/NCRC, Accra, Ghana (1998 to 2005).
