Undergraduates

Teaching of Undergraduate students in all topics of Obstetrics and Gynaecology through:

1. Lectures using picture demonstrations, models and handouts; and regularly reviewing and updating lecture notes.
2. Tutorials in small groups to facilitate their understanding of the subjects. Facilitating seminars prepared by student groups.
3. Clinical teaching at the General Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinics, on the wards and operating theatres.
4. Holding Gynaecological Oncology Clinics to provide service to the public as well as teaching undergraduates and postgraduates in these clinics.

-Postgraduates

1. Teaching of Postgraduate Doctors (Residents) through: lectures, seminars, case studies, clinical teaching on bedside and clinics, real-time ultrasonographic teaching, trial examination, imparting surgical and other management skills.
2. Guiding Residents on case selection and write-up; selection of Research topics, planning; and review of The Book of cases and commentaries for the Part II West African College of Surgeons examination.
3. Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist in charge of training residents for fellowship in gynaecological oncology in the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons
