Professional/Teaching Experience
Undergraduates
Teaching of Undergraduate students in all topics of Obstetrics and Gynaecology through:
- Lectures using picture demonstrations, models and handouts; and regularly reviewing and updating lecture notes.
- Tutorials in small groups to facilitate their understanding of the subjects. Facilitating seminars prepared by student groups.
- Clinical teaching at the General Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinics, on the wards and operating theatres.
- Holding Gynaecological Oncology Clinics to provide service to the public as well as teaching undergraduates and postgraduates in these clinics.
-Postgraduates
- Teaching of Postgraduate Doctors (Residents) through: lectures, seminars, case studies, clinical teaching on bedside and clinics, real-time ultrasonographic teaching, trial examination, imparting surgical and other management skills.
- Guiding Residents on case selection and write-up; selection of Research topics, planning; and review of The Book of cases and commentaries for the Part II West African College of Surgeons examination.
- Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist in charge of training residents for fellowship in gynaecological oncology in the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons
