1. Member of the Sub-Contractors – US$1.27 million Feasibility Study for the Zipline Aerial Health and Distribution Service Expansion

The project aims to assess the potential expansion of Zipline, a drone logistics company, into new geographical areas and the development of innovative business models to enhance its healthcare logistics services. The study, led by the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with subcontractors from Ghana, specifically Faculty from the KNUST School of Business Supply Chain and Information Systems Department, is budgeted at $1.27 million. The study does not only evaluate the viability of Zipline's healthcare services expansion but also its potential to improve access to e-commerce, postal, and agricultural products and services in remote and underserved areas, thereby contributing to local economic growth and reducing delivery times and costs. By employing experienced faculty consultants in feasibility and market studies, supply chain management, and data analytics, this project aims to drive positive socio-economic impacts while enhancing Zipline's existing delivery systems. The study focuses on Ghana and Nigeria as the targeted countries for the potential expansion.

2. Host, Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP)

• Won over US$ 50,000 Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP) grants on three consecutive occasions

• The CADFP grants afforded KNUST to host African Diaspora scholars from the United States to work with the host on collaborative projects. For KNUST, the emphasis of our collaboration was on Graduate Student Training, Mentoring, and Research Collaboration

• The project focuses on training and mentoring of graduate students, through organization of workshops and seminars and supervision of doctoral student research

• The Project also focuses on mentoring faculty at the KNUST School of Business (KSB) on research processes and collaborating with Scholars to develop research projects that would lead to potential articles published in high impact journals. Achievements include publications in high impact journals and PhD students successfully defending their projects.
