Research Areas/Interests
My areas of research interest include water resources management Impacts of anthropogenic perturbations on aquatic environments and biota, in particular fish. Bioaccumulation of heavu=y metals in aquatic organisms and in sediments. In recent years I have investigated alternative fish feed in aquaculture that optimises growth of Tilapia and catfish without compromising profits of the fish farmers and minising ecological footprints.
In the wake of climate change and effects I am investigating how climate variation is impacting on the cocoa landscape in Ghana in two ecological zones and how water stress can be addressed through appropriate shade trees that do not draw negatively on the water for the cocoa.
