Prof. Boateng's present research interests are in the areas of design, test and diagnosis of logic and VLSI circuits, test of PLL, network security protocols, applications of residual number systems (RNS), image processing and smart metering. He also has special interest in distance learning, e-learning pedagogies, sustainability and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)
