Profile

Dr. Mrs. Dorothy Araba Yakoba Agyapong is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Engineering, KNUST. She holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from KNUST, an MSc in Bioengineering from The University of Nottingham, UK, a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology, Chengdu, China and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba. She joined KNUST in 2009. She teaches various courses in Biomedical Engineering and her research focuses on sensitive materials, material optimization and engineering of biomedical implants as well as the development of biosensors.

Dr. Mrs. Agyapong is a Professional Member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering and an active Fellow of the Republic Hall, KNUST. She has served on quite a number of committees within the College of Engineering and the University at large. She is currently the International Programme’s Officer of the College of Engineering and the Exams Officer for the Department of Computer Engineering.
