Profile

I am Michael Kweku commeh of Technology Consultancy Centre, now rebranded as UNESCO Centre  of excellence. I have been Researching, Lecturing and supervising students in Material Science & Engineering (Ceramics, polymers, composite), Energy at Department of Biosystem, Waste management, Waste water Management, Biogas at Civil/ Regional Water, Environment, Sanitation Centre Kumasi (RWESCK) Centre of Excellence. I Mentor Youths on Business development and startups.

A Research Fellow with an MSc in Energy Techniques and Environmental Resource Management and MSc.Technology Management with focus on Renewable Energies, Environmental Resource Management and Rural Extension Skills. His research has taken him through the application of Ceramic Material and environmental Sanitation including sustainable energy systems with 20yrs in Ceramic materials and applications in metallic organic frame work (MoF) in water treatment, Energy efficiency, carbon capture gas storage. Michael is an innovatively creative person, currently engaged in manufacturing system design involving salt mining, Pyrolysis, kilns for effective charcoal production, extractive machines for protein from biomass including citrus fruits and leave. His technology Transfer process is based on the philosophy of Bottom up approach through the Social Enlightened and Entrepreneurship. Currently, he is a member of the Working Group (WG) of the Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 285 responsible for drafting Conceptual framework for testing clean cookstoves and fuels for ISO, as well as application of Bamboo in Renewable energy resources.

He is fluent in Fante, English and German.
