Ms. Rhoda Dufie Dwobeng has been appointed as Junior Assistant Registrar at the Technology Consultancy Centre, UNESCO Category II Centre of Excellence. She worked at the Provost Offices at the Colleges of Engineering and Health Sciences as Principal Administrative Assistant. She started work in KNUST as an Administrative Assistant in May 2008 and rose through the ranks to her present status by dint of hard work and length of service to the University.
She holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretaryship and Management Studies degree from Kumasi Polytechnic now known as Kumasi Technical University. Currently, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Logistics and Supply Chain Management Option) and Master of Business Administration (Logistics and Supply Chain Management Option) both from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST in 2012 and 2015 respectively.
From 2008 to 2015, She worked at the Department of Physiology, School of Medical Sciences (School of Medicine and Dentistry). Some of her duties were giving full administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Department. She was also at the Department of Chemical Engineering from 2015 to 2017 where she monitored and maintained office correspondence and was subsequently transferred to the Provost Office, College of Engineering in 2017. She has also served on numerous Committees within the University since her appointment and during the 2019 KNUST Excellence Awards, she was awarded the Best Senior Staff in the College of Engineering.
In her fifteen years experience with KNUST, she is known for her ability to plan her workload efficiently and effectively. Ms. Dwobeng can work with little or no supervision. She is a team player and has a high sense of responsibility and commitment to duty. Ms. Dwobeng is highly resourceful and flexible individual who possesses a considerable amount of knowledge regarding administrative and office procedures. She strives to achieve the highest standard possible at any given task.
