Nora Kofognotera Nonterah, is a humanist interested in scholarship that promotes peacebuilding and supports the creation of safe spaces for constructive human relations and flourishing. She holds a PhD degree in theology (with specialization in ethics) from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and she is currently a lecturer at the department of Religious Studies, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi (Ghana). Her research interest includes peace-building, interreligious dialogue, gender, safeguarding of minors, interreligious dialogue/relations/education, and social ethics.
Dr Nonterah, as a Regional Committee Member of Catholic Theological Ethics in the World Church (CTEWC) serves as the coordinator of Regional and International Networking (Partners/ Events) – CTEWC Africa Chapter. She is also an expert and steering committee member of the Pan African Catholic Theology and Pastoral Network (PACTPAN).
She renders services to the community both locally and internationally. She is a pioneer member of the series editors of the Pan-African Theology and Pastoral Studies Series (PATPASS). She is a member of the African Synodality Initiative (ASI) and is a Member of the Global Catholic Synod on Synodality.
