The Rev. Fr. Prof. Emmanuel Kojo Ennin Antwi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Religious Studies. He holds a Certificate in Theological Sciences (Pedu), a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and the Study of Religions from the University of Ghana, Legon, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast, a Licentiate in Biblical Theology from the Pontifical Urbaniana University, Rome, a Doctorate in Sacred Theology (Old Testament Literature and Exegesis) from the Albert-Ludwig’s University Freiburg, Germany and a Certificate in Theology and Religious Studies from the International Graduate Academy, University of Freiburg. His area of specialization is Biblical Studies and the courses he teaches include: Biblical Hermeneutics, Old Testament Theology, Themes in the Old Testament, Old Testament and African Life and Thought, Apocalyptic Literature and the Theology of Paul at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is a Contributor to the Arbeiten zu Text und Sprache im Alten Testament Series (vol. 95). He is a member of Ghana Association of Biblical Exegetes (GABES) and the international Society of Biblical Literature (SBL). He is an ordained Catholic Priest belonging to the Diocese of Konongo-Mampong. He is the Priest in charge of St Martha Catholic Church, Antoa-Kwabre in the Ashanti-Region of Ghana.
