Ms. Susana Asamoah, Esq., is a seasoned higher education administrator, legal practitioner, and development planning professional with over three decades of distinguished experience in public administration, university governance, development planning, and legal practice. She currently serves as Senior Assistant Registrar and Manager, General Administration Division, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, while also practising as a legal practitioner with Adomako Kwache Law and Consulting, Adum, Kumasi.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics and Law, a Master of Science in Development Planning and Policy, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from KNUST. She was subsequently called to the Ghana Bar after obtaining the Barrister-at-Law (BL) qualification from the Ghana School of Law and later earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Ghana, Legon.

Ms. Asamoah's professional career spans more than thirty years across three complementary fields: Development Planning, Higher Education Administration, and Legal Practice. She commenced her career in 1996 as a Senior Development Planning Officer, serving with both the Brong Ahafo and Ashanti Regional Coordinating Councils, where she played a key role in regional development planning, policy formulation, inter-sectoral coordination, and the implementation of sustainable development initiatives.

Since joining KNUST in 2006, she has held several strategic administrative positions of increasing responsibility. These include Assistant Registrar, Human Resource Development Division; Senior Assistant Registrar, Examinations Office; School Secretary, School of Medical Sciences; Faculty Registrar, Faculty of Art, College of Art and Built Environment; and her current role as Senior Assistant Registrar and Manager, General Administration Division. Throughout her tenure, she has contributed significantly to institutional governance, policy implementation, administrative reforms, and the efficient management of university operations.

An accomplished university administrator, Ms. Asamoah has served as Secretary to numerous statutory and non-statutory committees and boards of the University. These include the Senior Staff Appointments and Promotions Committee, Examinations Audit Committee, Accra Guesthouse Management Committee, Board of Survey, and several other committees that support the University's governance and decision-making processes.

Beyond KNUST, she has provided leadership and governance support through service on several national and institutional boards and committees. Her appointments include Council Member, Valley View University; Member, KNUST Council of Convocation; Board Member, Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL); Member, Search Committee for the Appointment of the Vice-Chancellor, Valley View University; Member, Governing Body of the College of Education, Asokore-Koforidua; and Board Secretary, Green Communities International.

Ms. Asamoah has also contributed to scholarship through collaborative research and academic dissemination. She is a co-author of publications in the Canadian Journal of Social Studies and the Ghana Journal of Higher Education Management, and has presented papers at several international academic conferences in the areas of higher education administration, governance, and public policy.

Her commitment to excellence and outstanding service has earned her institutional recognition. In 2021, she received the Best Senior Member (Administrative and Professional Category) award at the College of Art and Built Environment (CABE) Excellence Awards, KNUST, in recognition of her exemplary contributions to university administration and institutional development.

Ms. Asamoah continues to demonstrate exceptional leadership, professionalism, and commitment to excellence in higher education administration, legal practice, institutional governance, and public service.
