Osei-Owusu Mike is a Senior Accountant at the School of Graduate Studies, KNUST, a position he has held since August, 2018.Mike had his bachelor's education at Central University in Accra, Ghana and completed in 2002 with a major in Finance and Banking; a Master of Science degree in Financial Management at The Robert Gordons University, Aberdeen Business School, Scotland.

Before joining the KNUST in 2006, he worked briefly with Ghana Oil Company Limited, Accra in 2002-2003 and with John Lewis in the UK and was Head of Payables Section of the University Finance Office during the intership period. he was ultimately given full time appointment in 2008 as an Assistant Accountant in charge of Treasury at the Finance Office. During his time at the Treasury, Mike was involved with the administration and Management of University’s Investments as well as the administration and Management of GETFund and TALIF (World Bank Project) receipts and Disbursements with a total fund of $5 million. Mike was also involved in securing a loan of $1 million from Messrs Oikocredit International, Holland for the construction of the Osei-Tutu Medical Centre at the University Hospital. He  subsequently served as Accountant in charge of Receivables and Students Finance Sections of the Finance Office.

He is coherent and can articulate views at work place so well. His main strength is that he is able to understand, analyses logically and can work to schedule under pressure. He has been consistent and dependable in the discharge of his duties, showing ability of pursuing jobs through completion.
