Achievements

  1. As Head of Department (2014-2017), I had a very strong academic record and standing with a good understanding of the academic discipline within the department. I provided strong academic leadership while promoting and representing the University both internally and externally. I was responsible for setting and advancing the academic strategies of the Department in line with Faculty and University strategic plans and direction. I made effective use of all staffing resources and sought opportunities for collaboration and joint working with others beyond the Department including being the liaison for industrial collaboration with Pharmaceutical Industries in Ghana. This has led to the signing of MOU between KNUST and several Pharmaceutical Industries for student internship and R&D.
