Emmanuel Ebo Ocran is a Systems and Database developer and a Chartered Accountant. He is currently the Head of Payroll as well as the Finance Manager of the Mastercard Foundation Programmes at KNUST. He served as the Head of Budget from 2007 to 2013 and Head of Data Processing from 2013 to 2020. He obtained his Master of Business Administration (Business Information Technology) and BSc. Computer Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana). He joined the University in September 2005 as an Assistant Systems Analyst and has risen through the ranks to Systems Analyst in 2013 and Senior Systems Analyst in 2018. Emmanuel's research interest is in developing algorithms to extract meaning from big accounting data for management decision making.
