He has a number of research papers directed towards the discovery of existing and novel enzymes for industrial applications. Most of his researches on ezyme discovery promotes the utilization of cheaper substrates such as agro-industrial wastes which invariably helps to reduce environmental pollution by these wastes. The prime aim of his research is to help produce local enzymes in pilot scale for research and industrial purposes spearheaded by KNUST Team of experts hence the promotion of a start-up project dabbed KLEP (KNUST Local Enzyme Production).
