Mona Lisa Frimpong is a Broadcast Journalist and a Public Relations Professional.

As a Journalist, she has spent over 5 years covering gender, business and enviroment stories. 

She has served as the Head of the Business Desk at the Multimedia Group Limited, Kumasi Business Unit.

Mona Lisa is a News Anchor, Reporter, Voice over Actor at Joy News and Luv 99.5 FM.

Through her stories, she is pushing for women empowerment and gender equity.

Mona Lisa is a fellow of the Media Foundation for West Africa's Fellowship on Gender Reporting and a Fellow of the Clean Air Fellowship for Journalists.

She is a member of the Ghana Journalists Association, Alliance for Women in Media and Women in Pulic Relations - Ghana.

Mona Lisa Frimpong in May 2024, won the Second Best Reporter at the Inclusive and Anti-Conflict Journalism Awards organised by the Media Platform on Environment and Climate Change.

In July, 2024, she was honored by the Department of Planning, KNUST for Excellence in Developmental Reporting as an alumnus of the Department.

Aside her journalism and public relations career, Mona Lisa is a Senior Administrative Assistant (handling communications) at the E-Learning Centre of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
