Dr. Grace Birago Asenso is a scholar, educator, and higher education administrator with expertise in strategic communication, public relations, intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship and digital transformation. She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana, with a PhD in Business and Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and has over a decade of experience in higher education administration, academic leadership, and institutional development. Her research contributes to contemporary discussions on digital transformation by examining how next-generation digital technology capabilities enable organizations to identify opportunities and enhance organizational performance and growth. Beyond research, her training brings extensive experience in modern higher education administration, where she continues to contribute to academic excellence and organizational effectiveness.
Currently serving in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor at KNUST, she continues to support the organization’s brand and reputation, its higher education policy, strategic development and governance. Her expertise lies in enhancing quality and efficiency in university leadership and aligning institutional goals with evolving trends in education, technology, and public policy. As the founding Senior Administrative Assistant for the Department of Teacher Education at KNUST with a strong foundation in organizational management and academic protocols, she is committed to contributing to the transformation of modern higher education institutions into globally competitive Centers of Learning and Research within and beyond the African context.
