Joseph Owusu is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing and Corporate Strategy, Business School, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. Joseph received his BA in Economics and MBA in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from KNUST, and PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University Malaysia Kelantan, Malaysia. Joseph’s interests include teaching and training students in entrepreneurship. He has developed new MSc. programmes in the areas of Technology Entrepreneurship and Health Entrepreneurship and won the best PhD student award in 2019. His primary research interest areas are entrepreneurial orientation, entrepreneurial financing, entrepreneurial education, SME financial resource-building effort, organizational embeddedness, and small business management. Joseph supervises postgraduate students (including Ph.D.) and research project students under O.R Tambo's Africa Research Chair Initiative at KNUST School of Business. Some of his research articles have been published in ABDC-ranked journals and others indexed in SCOPUS, DOAJ, EBSCO HOST, PROQUEST, WEB OF SCIENCE and International Scientific Index ISI among others. Currently, Joseph serves as the Academic programme coordinator for O.R Tambo Africa Research Chair Initiative and Pillar Lead for Health Ecosystem under the MasterCard Foundation Africa Higher Education Health Collaborative, KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana.
