Prof. Michael Adusei is an Associate in the Department of Accounting and Finance, KNUST School of Business, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is the former Vice Dean of KNUST School of Business and also the former Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance. He obtained his first degree from the University of Ghana and his second and terminal degrees from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He also holds an LLB degree from the University of London, United Kingdom. Prof. Michael Adusei has published 49 papers in international journals. Some of these papers have been published in peer-reviewed and ranked journals published by world-renowned publishers such as Elsevier, Wiley and Sons and Taylor and Francis publishers. Three of these papers have appeared in journals (International Journal of Finance and Economics and Journal of Institutional Economics) ranked 3 by the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS), a well-known global journal ranking body. A journal ranked 3 by CABS is a highly regarded journal worldwide. Besides, some of his papers have appeared in journals (International Review of Economics and Finance; Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance; Research in International Business and Finance; Journal of International Development; Managerial and Decision Economics and Journal of Cleaner Production) that are ranked 2 by CABS. A journal ranked 2 by CABS is a well-regarded journal worldwide. Two of these journals (International Review of Economics and Finance and Journal of Cleaner Production) are ranked A by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC). A journal ranked A by ABDC is a “highly regarded journal in the field or subfield. The impact of Prof. Adusei’s publications is evident in his Google Scholar Citations of 821 and h-index and i10-index of 15 and 20 respectively. Prof. Adusei was a member of the panel of the National Accreditation Board for the re-accreditation of the Banking and Finance programme of the Methodist University College, Accra in 2016. He was also the chair of the panel that assessed the re-accreditation application of the HND Accountancy programme of the Kumasi Technical University in 2021. He has assessed the promotion papers of some faculty members of various academic institutions including Ghana Institute of Public Administration, Sunyani Polytechnic (now Sunyani Technical University) and the Christian Service University College, Kumasi. He has served as the moderator of the Accounting and Finance programmes of Garden City University College and KAAF University College, Kasoa. He is an external examiner of the University of Cape Coast. He reviews manuscripts for ranked international journals such as International Journal of Finance and Economics; Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance; Applied Financial Economics; Journal of International Development; Journal of African Business; African Development Review; and International Review of Applied Economics. Beyond his academic exploits, he has also served as a consultant to firms such as EMPRETEC GHANA LIMITED and TECHNOSERVE GHANA (under its ENGINE programme). He was a member of the Research team for the “Reintegr-Action-Pilot Initiative to test Feasible and Sustainable Joint Integration Measures from the EU”, a 2 research programme funded by the European Return Fund under the Community Actions of the International Organization for Migration(IOM) of the European Union
