Profile
I am a full Professor in Health Promotion and Disability Studies in the School of Public Health, with a PhD in Human Nutrition, MSc. in Applied Human Nutrition and a Master of Public Health Degree. I have 27 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Service to the University, Ghana and the International Community.
In my capacity as a Professor in the Schools of Public Health and Medicine and Dentistry, KNUST, I have mentored several colleague young lecturers and students. I mentor students on Public Health Principles, Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Health Education, ensuring that they have a solid foundation of training in Public Health and Research methods. Annually, I supervise 3 PhD theses, 7 MSc./MPH/MPhil theses, and 18 undergraduate dissertations.
I have excellent working relationship with a wide range of professionals in academia, the Ghana Health Service, National Council on Persons with Disability, Ministries of Health and Education. With such a strong network of professionals, I am well positioned to demonstrate excellence in interventions and research related to health and education.
