Appointed as a lecturer in 1995, i rose through the ranks to become a full professor in pharmacology and toxicology in 2017. Over the years, i have taught pharmacology and toxicology to medical, pharmacy, nursing and other students in the College of Health Sciences at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I have also in the past taught pharmacology and toxicology to students at the Ghana college of Physicians and Surgeons and the West Africa postgraduate college of Pharmacists. Presently, i support teaching  at the Ghana College of Pharmacists. I have supervised a considerable number of undergraduate research projects and trained a good number of  M.Phil, PhD and postdoctoral research fellows. In administration, I have served in the past as a Head of Department, a Dean and a Pro Vice-chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah university of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
