Professional/Teaching Experience

  • I have been researching in Neglected Tropical Diseases for the past 17 years. Specifically amongs them is filariasis comprising lymphatic filariasis, Onchocerciasis and Mansonellosis. I have also been working on coinfection of helminths with other infectious diseases such as Buruli Ulcer disease and Tuberculosis. 

    I have been teaching Medical parasitology in School of Medicine and Dentistry as well as Faculty of Allied Health Sciences since 2016. In addition, I have been teaching Post graduate students in School of Medicine and Dentistry as well as Faculty of Allied Health Sciences  Research Methodology since 2019.
