Professional/Teaching Experience
Mrs. Daisy Afra Lumor has 6 years of dedicated clinical experience in midwifery, she has provided comprehensive and compassionate care to women throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period. This strong clinical foundation directly informs her teaching and research. For the past 12 years, she has been teaching midwifery at the tertiary level. Her approach integrates rigorous theoretical instruction with practical clinical training, focusing on developing students' practical skills, critical thinking, and capacity for compassionate care.
She actively supports students in clinical placements to bridge classroom learning with real-world practice. Concurrently, she has built a record of academic research, with a focus on reproductive health, as demonstrated by her publication in Frontiers in Global Women's Health and PLOS One. Her ongoing Ph.D. in Midwifery underscores her commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of midwifery and integrating evidence-based findings into both my teaching and future research contributions
