Formed the Ghana Association for the Study of Pain in 2009. I won the  International Association for the study of Pain's grant to train Health Personnel in Ghana on essential pain management.

I facilitated The World Federation of societies of Anaesthesiology's Adoption of KATH as center for training in Ultrasound Guided Regional Nerve Blocks for Doctors in Africa. A grant is provided for the training of two fellows each year.

Transformed the Department of Anaesthesia in KATH with initial 4 doctors when I joined the department to the present 60 Doctors.

The Deartment is now fully accredited to train fellows by both The Ghana College of Physician and Surgeons and the West Africa College of Surgeons.
