Achievements

2022

As Committee Chair for UITS Data Validation Committee, I developed a framework for data validation based on the Mathematical concept of Set theory and Venn Diagram. The framework was accepted by the Committee and has saved KNUST an amount of GHS 51,804.55 within the period of January 2022 to May 2022.

2021

Worked with GCNET (Mr. Carl Sackey) from 2016 to 2021 to secure a number (more than 15) of used high-end computational equipment for the College of Engineering and Department of Computer Science. This is to be used by students as simulation. Estimated cost of equipment is estimated at over USD 100,000.00. The equipment includes but not limited to the following:

  • Pillar Axiom SATA Brick - hard drive array
  • Sun Oracle Sparc T4-1 Server 8 Core
  • Sun Microsystems SUN RACK 900-38 19” 38U
  • Sun StorageTek SL48 Tape Library
  • Dell PowerEdge R410 Server

2019

Secured a complementary invitation to the 7th IT Governance Summit Organized by ISACA Theme: Cyber & Technology Risks - Boardroom Concerns. This was for two participants at an estimated cost of GHS 4,000.00 at Aqua Safari, Ada Foah.[#SD55]

2016

Secured a complementary invitation to the 11th Audit, Risk and Governance Conference organized by the MIS Training Institute at La Palm. This was for one participant at an estimated cost of GHS 3,500.00.

2008

Worked with the Ghana Baseball and Softball Association (headed then by Rev. Ocran) and Secured Equipment and kits for Baseball and Softball for KNUST. Estimated cost of equipment was estimated at USD 60,0000.  The equipment included but not limited to the following:

  • Baseball Gloves and balls
  • Bats
  • Hats
  • Baseball helmets
  • Catcher’s gears
  • Boots
