1997 - 2001, Higher Education Link grant for collaborative research by the British Council under the DFID(UK)  at Kings College School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of London, 

2000- Travel Award by Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Company

2002-2004: Netherlands Climate Assistance Programme(NCAP) Grant to research into the impact of Climate Change on Human Health

2004-2006: Grant from Ghana AID Commission to undertake research into nutritional intervention in people with HIV/AIDS

2006- Grant from Bill Gates Africa Project to undertake research into the Reproductive health of Ghanaian women

2006- UNESCO Grant to undertake research into Curricular Reforms in HIV/AIDS at the university

2007-UN (ACCCA) Grant to undertake climate change and Health Studies in Ghana

2016- Building Stronger Universities(BSU) Phase III Grant, DANIDA
