Evans is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is currently working at the College of Health Sciences, Provost Office in charge of Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Prior to that, he was the Head of the University's Payroll between 2018 and 2020.

Evans has served on a number of Committees at the College such as a member of the Committee to Regularize the operations of the Pharmacy Production Unit. And was subsequently appointed Chairman of a Committee to implement the recommendations of the Committee to regularize the Operations of the Production Unit. He is also a member of the College's Orientation Committee. A member of the College's Procurement Committee and the Chairman of the College's Tender Opening Sub-Committee. Evans is a member of the College Facilities Management Committee.

Evans is currently the Treasurer of Ghana Association of Universities Administrators (GAUA),KNUST Branch and also a member of GAUA National Executives Committee. He is the Representative of GAUA on the Senior Staff Club Management Board. He was a member of the Local Organizing Committee for the National Congress of GAUA. 

Evans was also appointed Chairman of a sub committee to review specific chapters of the revised University's Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual.

Apart from his services to the University, He has also served on other Committees outside the University some of which include a member of the Finance Committee of Christ's Congregation, KNUST Presbytarian Church. And also a Board member of Books for Him and Her LBG (NGO) based in Kumasi.
