Auto/Biography

E. K. Appiah-Adjei is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geological Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. His background is in Geological Engineering and has a Doctorate in Hydrology and Water Resources with specialization in Groundwater Management. He teaches Basic Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Introduction to GIS, Basic Mineral Science, Structural Geology, and Project Report Writing at the undergraduate level, and Water Resources Management at the graduate level. His research interests are, primarily, in groundwater management with particular emphasis on modelling groundwater recharge and contaminant transport. He also has related interest in evaluating climate change impact on groundwater resources and rural water supply.
