Dr. Albert Asare is a Senior Lecturer in the Geological Engineering Department at KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana. He has been with the department since 2020, teaching courses such as Principles of Geophysics, Exploration Geophysics, Hydrogeology, Groundwater Development, Computer Programming, and Computer Applications in Geological Engineering. His research focuses on applying geophysical methods to environmental engineering challenges, including groundwater exploration, contamination, geotechnical investigations, and groundwater development. Currently, he is studying seawater intrusion in coastal communities using geophysical and hydrogeochemical techniques.
