Awards and Recognition

  1. Winner of the Global Research Nurses Qualitative Research Methods Course Competition. Available at Qualitative Research Methods Course Competition • Global Research Nurses (tghn.org)/ https://globalresearchnurses.tghn.org/opportunities/. From this grant, I have completed a course dubbed “Learning with the Book: An Introduction to Qualitative Research Methods for Health Research” from 12 Jan – 02 March 2022. Organized by the Medical Sociology & Health Experiences Research Group at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford.
  2. College of Health Sciences Maiden research grant award, 2021. The award was GHS10,000 to support a project on “Challenges associated with attaining higher education among post-diploma graduate nurses and midwives in Kumasi, Ghana”. The project was completed in 2022
  3. Global Research Nurses Pump-priming Grants 2024: Travel Project Award. Funded by The Burdett Trust for Nursing with grant number (SB\LG\101010662\795104). Amount: GBP 2,854. Project Title: Travel to South Africa for Research Collaborative Partnership to Address Research Utilization in Clinical Nursing and Midwifery Practice in Ghana.
