Acheampong Enoch is a Public Health, Disability and Rehabilitation Practitioner and Consultant, and a Lecturer at the Department of Health Promotion and Disability Studies, KNUST. He holds Doctor of Philosophy(PhD) in Public Health, Master of Science(MSc) in Disability, Rehabilitation and Development and Bachelor of Arts(BA Hons) in Sociology and Social Work, all from KNUST.
He has interest in Mental Health, Access to healthcare for marginalised groups, adolescents’ health, disability and Employment, Disability and Social life, Disability and Culture, Disability Stigma, Qualitative Research paradigm, Disability Management and Livelihood, Sociology of health, Disability and Sexuality, and social construction of disability.
He has more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He was among a group of consultants who prepared the official document with the title '"Strategies for mainstreaming disability in Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana" on behalf of the National Council for Persons with Disability (Ghana).
