Dr. Prince Junior Asilevi is a Lecturer and Research Scientist in Atmospheric and Environmental Physics/ Chemistry at the Department of Meteorology and Climate Science, KNUST, Ghana. He holds a BSc in Physics and an MPhil in Meteorology and Climate Science, both from KNUST, and a PhD in Environmental Engineering (Sanitation and Waste Management). He focuses on applied meteorology, air chemistry - emissions/air pollution science and control, and satellite remote sensing applications.
With several publications in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) journals, Prince has made significant contributions to cloud-radiation interaction modeling, air quality improvement using atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasma technology, air pollution meteorology and prediction, and climate science. He has expertise in meteorological and laboratory analytical instrumentation, computational modeling, and machine learning for environmental data analysis.
Prince previously served as Project Manager for the World Bank Africa Center of Excellence with the Regional Water and Environmental Sanitation Centre Kumasi (RWESCK) at the Department of Civil Engineering, KNUST. Passionate about mentoring and collaborative research, he is committed to advancing innovative solutions for climate change mitigation and sustainable environmental management.
