Professional Biography

Dr. Bernard Elikplim Petershie is a Lecturer in the Department of Pathology at the School of Medical Sciences, KNUST, and a Pathologist at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) and is a Member of the Ghana College of Physicians (MGCP) in Laboratory Medicine (Anatomic Pathology).

He is currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular Medicine at KSMD-KNUST, with a research focus on cancer diagnostics and molecular pathology. His academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of precision oncology, molecular diagnostics, and translational cancer research in African populations.

Dr. Petershie is committed to training the next generation of medical professionals and scientists, and actively participates in collaborative research aimed at improving cancer outcomes across the sub-region.
