My name is Akua Afriyie Ocran,born to Mr and Mrs Kingsford Osei Agyemang.I was born in Hamburg, Germany. I have three siblings namely; Mrs Evelyn Oduro, Mr Osei-Agyemang Jnr and Mr Kofi Osei Agyemang.

I developed an interest in Medicine at a very tender age and always wanted to take care of children. This interest was almost thwarted during my secondary education where I was exceptionally good in Mathematics. Although I took Mathematics instead of Biology, I was allowed to study Medicine at KNUST and I am forever grateful for that opportunity.   

Outside the field of academia, I love reading a wide range of books. I also indulge in beads making as a hobby.

I have a remote interest in farming and would like to explore this venture in the future.
