Profile
I am a seasoned higher education administrator with over two decades of progressive experience here at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. I am currently the Head of the Department of Institutional Planning at the Quality Assurance and Planning Office (QAPO) under the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.
Earlier in my career at KNUST, I served in key administrative roles in the Vice-Chancellor’s and Pro Vice-Chancellor’s Offices, where I was instrumental in protocol co-ordination, committee secretariat duties and executive-level communications. I also had a stint at the Institute of Distance Learning (IDL) – KNUST, where I had the opportunity to act as its Western Zonal Co-ordinator and provided administrative oversight in co-ordinating the running of distance learning programmes in the Zone.
As an accomplished contributor to scholarship and institutional service, I have co-authored several administrative memoranda, position papers, journal articles and book chapters. I have also served on over 40 high-level committees, including national search committees for Vice-Chancellors and Registrars.
I am a product of KNUST, the University of Cape Coast, Kumasi Technical University (then Kumasi Polytechnic) and a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants, Ghana (CIAMC-G).
