Rebecca Essel is a Senior lecturer at the Department of Educational Innovations in Science and Technology, (KNUST). She received her master’s degree in Educational Management from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Psychology with English as her teaching subject from the University of Cape Coast, and a Diploma in Education from the University College of Education, Winneba. She has a Diploma in Research Methods and Skills from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands. She teaches Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Educational Administration and Management, Research Methodology and Evaluation, Test and Measurement. Her research interest areas are Distance Learning, leadership and Organisation, Research and Human Resource Management. She has published several academic papers in peer-reviewed journals and attended seminars and conferences in Ghana and abroad where her papers were accepted and presented. She has taught at all levels of the Ghana Education Service. She has been teaching since 1980 and she rose to the rank of Assistant Director before she joined the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology as a lecturer.
