Mr. Michael Kwesi Baah is a Lecturer at the Department of Herbal Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Pharmacognosy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Herbal Medicine from KNUST where he is currently pursuing his PhD Pharmacognosy degree.

His area of specialization and research interests are clinical trial and efficacy testing of herbal products, quality control and standardization of herbal products, socio-cultural aspect of herbal medicine research as well as plant products with antiparasitic, antimicrobial, and antidiabetic activities. He also focuses his research on ethnopharmacology and has some scientific publications in peer review journals to his credit.

Mr. Baah is a member of the Society of Medicinal Plants and Natural Products Research and the Ghana Association of Medical Herbalists (GAMH).
