Mrs. Mavis Osei Boateng holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance from the Central University, Accra and an MBA (Human Resource) from KNUST School of Business.

Mrs. Osei Boateng has been working with KNUST since December 2005 where she was employed as a Senior Accounting Assistant. She moved from Senior Accounting Assistant to Principal Accounting Assistant in January 2012. She worked at the Pensions Secretariat of the Finance Office from December 2005 to September 2017.

Mrs. Osei Boateng joined the Registrar's Offices from October 2017 as Junior Assistant Registrar and was promoted as an Assistant Registrar in August 2020. She has been with the College of Science. She is currently the Faculty Registrar for the Faculty of Physical and Computational Sciences. Mrs. Osei Boateng is currently the Assistant Secretary for the Ghana Association of University Administrators-KNUST.
