Mr. William Wilberforce Amoah is an astute and performace driven Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Nursing, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumais-Ghana. He is a Registered Nurse with specialisation in Emergency nursing, Adult Health and Curriculum Development in Nursing. He obtained his Diploma, BSc., and Master of Philosophy in nursing from the University of Ghana between 2009 and 2016.
Mr. Amoah is currently undertaking a postgradute study (PhD) to develop a guideline for professional nurses in Ghana to support self-management in patients with end-stage renal disease at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa.
He possesses over ten years in extensive clinical, academic, business and leadership experience in nursing. Have vast knowledge of clinical experience in hospital and community settings. Work extensively in both public and private health institutions across the country. Possess proven ability to work locally, globallyteamwork and diversecultural settings with result-oriented, student-centered focus to provide reality-based practical learning to nursing students to succeed in real work environment.
Mr. Amoah has interest in trauma and chronic disease care and his goal is to develop guidelines, implement and evaluate them for improving chronic care outcomes. He has supervised over 30 undergraduate students project work and ten postgraduate students, dissertation and has 5 publications to his credit.
