Professional/Teaching Experience
An average of 8 – 10 MSc/MPH students supervised annually since 2000. The students are from universities within and outside Ghana. Currently, academic supervisor for seven PhD students: Princess Ruhama Acheampong (KNUST, Ghana), Victor Stephani (Technical University of Berlin, Germany), Carie Muntifering Cox (Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA), Akosua Gyimah (KNUST, Ghana), Alex Bapula (KNUST, Ghana), Isaac Kofi Yankson (KNUST), and Joe Strong (London School of Economics, UK). Annual supervision of 10-15 research projects of KNUST undergraduate medical students. Lectures offered to undergraduate medical, nursing and veterinary medical students; epidemiology, health systems research, environmental health, good field practice and leadership. Lectures offered to graduate public health, nursing and family medicine students; reproductive health, health systems research, good field practice, leadership, adolescent sexual and reproductive health rights, family health and epidemiology
