Dr. Eliezer Togbe holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Pathology from the Department of Molecular Medicine. He is a lecturer in Chemical Pathology in the department of Medical Diagnostics, KNUST for both undergraduates and postgraduates.
His research interests include Diabetes and Diabetic Nephropathy, Metabolic Syndrome, Malnutrition in Children, and Quality Assurance in the laboratory.
Among other things, he is involved in the research and designing of clinical chemistry courses and materials, is responsible for departmental administrative tasks, and supervises students' research projects.
He functions in the university apart from lecturing as a Cognate Member of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Moderator of Affiliated University Colleges, Member of the College of Health Sciences Scholarship and Social Funds Management Team, Departmental Examination officer (2016-2020), Assessor of Ghana Tertiary Commission and Demonstrator of Church Health Management and Current Health Issues since 1992.
He has published several full articles and abstracts.
He is a member of the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists(GAMLS) and the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC)
