Chromatographic separations of some phenols of Tin (IV) Oxide and Antimonic (V) acid layers
Abstract
Nine selected phenols have been chromatograted on tin (IV) oxide and antimonic (V) acid thin-layers and the RE values determined in five different solvent systems. On. the basis of the difference in selectivities for the phenols on the layers a large number of binary and ternary separations has been obtained. The results are compared with those obtained on silica gel G layer.
